Unique Digital's deputy managing director James Briscoe who has been at the digital agency for five years will replace Stevens as managing director to head up the business.

Stevens, who will sit on Syzygy's Group management board, will work alongside chief executive Marco Seiler and chief technical officer Frank Wolfram to build the business's international strategy as well as focus on Syzygy UK, Unique Digital and Hi-Res!.

Syzygy, which is part-owned by WPP, bought online media planning and buying agency Unique Digital for an undisclosed sum in March 2007.

Last month Unique Digital's managing partner Simon Burgess left the business to join TradeDoubler as managing director. He replaced Ben Wood who left to become managing director of Aegis digital specialist Diffiniti.
