Street View: tell Google where to go

LONDON - Google is inviting people to decide where its Street View bike should be sent around the world after trialling the service in the UK.

The 3-wheel bicycle, which features a mounted camera, was created to photograph areas that cannot be reached by a car such as shopping centres.

The search engine is encouraging people to be imaginative with their suggestions in a .

The public will then be able to cast their final votes and choose the top locations Google will add to Street View. The UK competition received more than 10,000 nominations and 35,000 votes, with Stonehenge and Warwick Castle coming out on top.

The move comes amid an effort to generate revenue from Street View. This week British band.
