The £100,000 campaign, in conjunction with tourism agency VisitScotland, will encompass TV, radio, outdoor and digital activity.
The ads will promote the fact that tourists can now travel from Northern Ireland to Scotland for £65 single for a car and driver when they book online. Anyone who registers for the offer before 31 May 2009 will receive a free Adventure Pass, which gives half-price entry to 50 wildlife-watching and outdoor activities across Scotland.
Visitors from Northern Ireland brought nearly £150m in tourism revenue into the Scottish economy last year.
