Keane-Dawson, who initially worked as a consultant at Steak last summer, joined the agency following 18 months in China as chief marketing officer at digital media start-up, GlobalCast Networks.
With 20 years of media agency experience in both business development and account management roles, her previous clients include Ford, American Express, British Airways and Marks & Spencer.
Steak Group chief executive Oliver Bishop said Keane-Dawson had "invaluable experience" leading companies operating in new media formats.
Alongside Keane-Dawson's appointment, Steak has created a new client services team to streamline client handling across multiple formats. A newly formed search and media team, led by Neil Stickells - who moves from his position as head of SEO - will deliver Steak's bespoke campaigns.
