Barclays is inviting its staff and customers to participate in sponsored night walks that are taking place in London and Manchester on September 4 to help raise money for Unicef's education work in Rwanda.
Start was appointed by Barclays to design a brand identity for the fundraising walks, for use across a broad range of brand communications, internal communications, and a multi-channel ad campaign, which launches today.
The ad campaign comprises of press advertising in Manchester regional titles, digital advertising for Transvision screens at Manchester Piccadilly train station, and radio advertising on Key 103FM.
Start has also designed a digital Flash animated ad which is being displayed in Barclays branches in the Greater Manchester region.
In addition, the staff engagement campaign features posters, banners and postcards, inviting staff and their friends and family to participate in the walks, or to sponsor their loved ones.
Jen McAleer, managing director of Start Creative, said: "The 'Take One Small Step Into The Night' campaign is a great way to motivate and engage Barclays' staff, customers and local community.
"I have no doubt that the walks will be a big hit, and I hope they raise a huge amount of money for this very worthwhile cause."
The will begin at 7pm on September 4 in London and Manchester.
