St Paul's crypt hosts launch of Britain Planner: pictures

The crypt at St Paul's Cathedral was the scene for a travel industry gathering to celebrate the launch of Morris Visitor Publications and VisitBritain's Britain Planner.

A host of food and drink companies including Bulldog Gin, Fever-Tree, Meantime Brewery and Real Boar Company showcased products at the launch, .

Canapes, prepared by Alexis Gauthier, executive chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Roussillon, included Blue Bembridge lobster, crispy duck and chocolate truffles.

Bulldog Gin, Fever-Tree and Bramley & Gage produced cocktails for the evening.

Event Concept provided the ambient lighting displays.

Speeches were made by Andrew Turner, group sales director at Morris Visitor Publications; Chris Manning, managing director, Morris Visitor Publications, Europe; Kenny Boyle, commercial and marketing services director, VisitBritain.

Britain Planner is designed to showcase the country's diverse range of tourist activities.
