The HTC stand is one of the largest in the show’s main space, with four interactive zones including a sound booth, photo booth and performance arena.
In the sound booth, visitors can test the in-built audio quality of the handsets, selecting their own music tracks that are then played on speakers via the HTC Windows 8X and 8S handsets.
In the photo booth, groups can take pictures of themselves using HTC’s wide-angle front lens, taking a print-out away as a memento.
The performance arena in the centre of the stand demonstrates the handsets’ ability to connect to the Xbox 360 as a controller, as well as to record video. Visitors can take part in a dance-off using Xbox Kinect consoles while footage of the dancing is displayed above the HTC stand.
Ross McGinn, director of SSG, said: "Our brief focused on creating an exciting, dynamic, interactive experience for HTC at The Gadget Show Live and we are thrilled at the popularity of the stand."
Along the stand, touch-sensitive HTC ‘sense walls’ give information on the handsets’ features. All zones are also equipped with lighting that changes colour when guests interact with them.
The stand is modular enabling it to be re-used at future events.
