Sport magazine signs first Anglo-French deal

Royal Bank of Scotland has signed the first sponsorship deal across both the UK and French editions of Sport magazine, the free weekly launched in London last autumn.

The deal promotes the 2007 RBS Six Nations rugby championship, which starts tomorrow.
The campaign covers both print and online editions, including display ads, creative formats, sponsorship of the RBS 6 Nations guide and competitions to win tickets.
The UK edition, which debuted last September, has signed sponsorship deals with Setanta, PruHealth and Adidas to date, but this is the first time it has collaborated with the French edition on a promotion.
Sport currently distributes 319,436 copies of the magazine in more than 1,000 locations in the capital each Friday.
