Sport-e appoints Rippleffect to push online sports retail

LONDON - Online sports retailer Sport-e, part of the Littlewoods Home Shopping Group, has appointed Rippleffect to design its website after a three-way pitch.

, which sells sportswear brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Puma, says it is looking to extend its online sport retail presence as Amazon has done with books and music.

The pitch was opened to agencies throughout the North West. Rippleffect has created the online design and worked alongside the company's IT department on design templates and colour schemes.

Ben Hatton, Rippleffect managing director, said: "We are delighted to be working with Littlewoods. Its reputation as a leading online retailer is widely acknowledged and our redesign will enhance that offering even further."

Rippleffect was launched in 1999 and has offices in Liverpool and Manchester with 23 staff.

Sport-e's branding has been redesigned by Cheetham Bell JWT.
