LONDON - Sony Ericsson has hired Dare to make the brand synonymous with innovative mobile content.

The agency has been appointed to handle strategic global comms for Sony Ericsson Content & Services Communications.

Sony Ericsson wants Dare to ensure the creation of innovative content and apps for Sony Ericsson phones at a time when brands are lining up to create a presence on Apple's iPhone.

Dare will aim to inspire input from developers and the creative community and to excite consumers about the Sony Ericsson brand. Dare beat other Sony Ericsson roster agencies to land the account.
