The news comes in light of Smart Live’s one-year anniversary, which was marked last Friday (4 July) at London’s Radio Rooftop bar with 25 guests.
Safka told Event Smart Live performed better than expected in the last 12 months, with the team doubling in size from two to four full-time employees. "We also made the budgets we needed to make, and worked on a good balance of both corporate and private events including parties, hospitality and team building."
She added she has set herself a personal target of the types of clients Smart Live works with. "We are looking to work with clients who we can grow with, such as Just Eat who are a great example."
Clients which Smart Live will be working with in the coming months include Pizza Express, for an internal awards ceremony for 600 guests in September, and the Ryder Cup travel services, for which the company will deliver a series of large-scale parties at the Gleneagles Equestrian Centre for up to 2,000 guests each night of the golf tournament.
The company has most recently secured work with IT business LogMeIn.
"We are keen to explore the corporate conferencing side of events more," Safka explained. "We will also be looking to expand the team further. It has yet to be decided, but ideally we would want a dedicated team member focused on the private events market."
