
The broadcaster has decided to open its doors to third-party media owners in a bid to boost usage of Anytime on PC, which relaunched today.
As well as featuring the core Sky channels, Anytime on PC will feature National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, The History Channel, The Biography Channel and Crime & Investigation Network have signed up to the service.
Sky Anytime on PC has been relaunched to be entirely web-based. Users of the service previously had to log on to a desktop application.
Most of the content available on Anytime is free to subscribers, with non-Sky customers able to subscribe to view content online only. Sky Movies is not available to non-Sky customers although the broadcaster has plans to introduce a rate for non-customers.
