Sky poaches ITV director

BSkyB has poached ITV’s director of planning and strategy David Bergg, to become general manger for Sky One.

Bergg will replace James Baker, who moved over to head up Sky’s production business. He will report to Mark Sharman, director of broadcasting for Sky Networks, who the company recently poached from Channel 4.

Julie Lamaison, director of broadcasting at ITV2, will replace Bergg at ITV, reporting to director of programmes, David Liddiment.
