Electricpig.co.uk, which has more than 100,000 users, was launched by Republic Publishing and is the brainchild of former T3 editors James Beechinor Collins and Mike Cooper. It features technology and gadget news and features.

Following the deal with Sky, Electricpig.co.uk will be able to offer advertisers fully integrated campaigns using banners, skyscrapers and MPUs, as well as themed competition pages and advertorials.

Sky Digital Media sells ads across Sky’s own websites and third-party partner sites, including popular online fashion retail site ASOS, Sony BMG, the Football League and Baby Centre.

Electricpig.co.uk is edited by James Holland, who said that the deal will help the firm realise its goal to become the UK’s most-read technology website.
