Sky Digital signs Screenrush deal

LONDON - Sky's digital sales house, Sky Digital Media, has added another third-party entertainment website to its portfolio, Screenrush.co.uk.

Sky Digital signs Screenrush deal

Screenrush.co.uk is owned by French company AlloCine Group, and carries information on newly released films, such as where and when they are showing and how well they have been reviewed by newspapers and film magazines. There are plans to expand the site quickly, with the aim of getting it in the top five UK film sites by the end of the year.

Giles Ivey, director of sales, portal and verticals at Sky Digital Media, said: "The quality of Screenrush's editorial, combined with our existing portfolio of entertainment offerings and the growth of our video formats, offers advertisers attractive audiences who they can reach in innovative and engaging ways."

Sky Digital Media sells ads across Sky's websites as well as third parties including Sony BMG, Metacafe and Current TV in the entertainment sector, the Football League and popular fashion website ASOS. It represents over 180 websites in total.
