Setanta chooses Perform for online ad role

LONDON - Sports broadcaster Setanta has chosen online sports publisher Perform to represent its online display advertising for the next two years.

Following the deal with Setanta Perform now has a sports and entertainment advertising network of more than 45 websites, reaching 14 million unique users per month.

Setanta Sports' websites recorded 1.7 million unique visitors in July and has added more than one million unique users in recent months, boosted by its range of sports rights, including the Barclays Premier League.

Stephen Michael, director of New Media at Setant, said: "Our website is an incredibly important commercial vehicle for us, so choosing the right partner to manage our display advertising was a crucial decision."

Perform Sales has also recently added several other websites to its football network, bringing an additional three million unique users per month, generating more than 26 million page impressions.

The Perform Sales network already includes sites such as www.nufc.co.uk, www.westhamunited.co.uk and www.EatSleepSport.com.
