On 7 and 9 September, Birmingham Town Hall and Nottingham Council House will be illuminated with projections as part of Mandala, a free outdoor event fusing live south Asian dance and music.

The event is part of the which coincides with the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Seeper, which also created in April, will use a tracking system to allow the dancers and audience to generate colourful imagery on the buildings while the performances are taking place.

Performances inspired by traditional and contemporary south Asian styles will include an appearance from tabla player and Indian electronic producer Talvin Singh. The projections will react live to the sounds of his performance.
