The will play host to Channel XV, which is operating on BT's Mediahive platform, providing regular updates of rugby highlights and exclusive interviews across all levels of the game in Scotland.
The website, which attracts up to 3m page impressions a month, will act as a portal to the sites of some 250 Scottish clubs, three professional teams and news from the Scotland team.
Allan Munro, Scottish Rugby board chairman, said: "Channel XV is a fantastic opportunity for us to show the world what is going on in Scottish rugby."
Matches coming up this month include highlights of the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests, pro-team action from the Celtic League and club rugby action from the BT Premiership.
Bob Downes, BT Scotland director, said: "Using the power of BT Mediahive, organisations can now have their video clips, audio files and photos digitised and stored online and played out to a global audience across a range of media platforms -- not only the internet but also mobile phones, TV and a range of handheld devices.
"It's opening up an exciting world of new opportunities from which everyone can benefit, including Scottish Rugby."
Channel XV will be available free to anyone with a broadband connection.
Filming and online content will be produced by Scottish Rugby's in-house IT team and commercial video producers Stable Recordings in association with Ron Evans of Rerite Sport.
BT Scotland has provided clubs with internet services and communications support, linking more than 200 clubs across the country through the main Scottish Rugby website and giving players access to everything from team sheets to training information.
Last year, it successfully launched a video highlights platform, which received more than 80,000 downloads in total.
