The viral, which was created by director Henry Littlechild and digital marketing company the Viral Factory, is shot from the viewpoint of a tourist's camera, who is on safari in Africa.
While driving around a game park, the tourists stumble across a group of lions that are relaxing after feeding.
A male lion then bursts out "Day Oh! Day Oh!" and the rest of the pride join in and sing a few lines before a half-eaten antelope, with its torso reduced to bloody bare ribs, gets up and breaks into a rap.
The lions dance to the beat, along with three meerkats in the background, and once the song has ended they all lie back down and relax in their original positions.
Littlechild said: "Although it finally appears as one shot, there are lots of things going on there. The toughest aspect was making this look not just seamless, but also natural and believable."
"We had two options: a safer one that we knew would work but might be less special, and one that required us to take a risk and go for it. We opted for the latter, and, luckily, it paid off."
The Viral Factory handled creative, digital media planning and production for the project.
Glenn Sanders, The Viral Factory Creative Director, said: "Given how great the video turned out, and how well it has done from a seeding perspective, we're obviously thrilled. The fact that Henry survived without being mauled is an added plus."
