Sainsbury's business show dips to an audience of 1.5m

LONDON - The audience for 'I'm Running Sainsburys' dropped slightly on its second outing last night, while the other terrestrial channels proved more popular, according to unofficial overnight figures.

The four-part show, in which the supermarket's workers pitch ideas about improving the store to management, debuted last week with 1.6m viewers and a 7.7% share of viewing.

Yesterday at 9pm-10pm it registered 1.5m viewers and a 7% share, with another 213,000 viewers catching it on Channel 4+1.

BBC One was down from 4.4m last week for 'Crimewatch' to 2.5m for nature documentary 'Living With Monkeys: Tales From The Treetops', giving it an 11.3% share.

The audience migrated to other channels, resulting in BBC Two's 'Mary Queen of Charity Shops', ITV1's 'Ladette to Lady', and Five's 'CSI' improving on their ratings last week by 400,000 viewers each.

'Ladette to Lady' and 'Mary Queen of Charity Shops' both scored 3m viewers and a 13.9% share.

'CSI' was close behind the leaders with 2.8m viewers and a 12.8% share.

'Big Brother' was screened at 10pm-11pm and managed 2m viewers and a 12% share. It gathered 171,000 viewers on Channel 4+1.
