The magazines, Sainsbury's Drinks and Ideas, will be distributed in the national Sunday press and through the retailer's finance division.
Sainsbury's Drinks, a 40-page glossy magazine featuring 32 pages of editorial, will be given away in the Mail on Sunday in December. An additional 5,000 copies will be given away in Sainsbury's stores across the UK.
Ideas magazine, which completed a successful trial over the summer, will be mailed to Sainsbury's finance customers and will feature articles on travel, car, pet insurance and money management.
Ideas magazine will be prefixed by the corresponding season in which it appears -- the launch edition is titled Winter Ideas -- and is slated for further releases in March, May and September.
The supermarket giant said it would also consider making Sainsbury's Drinks a quarterly title, while its finance magazine will feature tie-ins with products, including Tu fashion and wines, Sainsbury's Energy and its Nectar partners.
Seven Squared, which produces the entire range of Sainsbury's customer publications, including flagship title Fresh Ideas, said it won the Sainsbury's Drinks account following a competitive pitch.
Dorcas Jamieson, publishing director at Seven Squared, said: "We worked closely with Sainsbury's to devise the editorial and design content of the magazine, which showcases a great mix of beers, wines and spirits."
