Now in its sixth year, the two-day 2012 festival dedicated to rum and rum culture will have another event running alongside it - Boutique RumFest, which will be open to members of the trade.
The event will feature more than 400 rare and delicious rums from across the globe, live music and exotic rhythms, rum-infused delicacies and food from across the Caribbean in the Tropical Food Market.
Visitors will be given the chance to go on a journey of rum discovery with a range of masterclasses, talks and seminars available. Rum mixologists will be partaking in cocktail battles and demonstrations throughout the two days.
Chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory and global rum ambassador Ian Burrell will launch a bespoke range of chocolates at the Tropical Food Market that have been crafted to compliment the flavours found in a number of selected rum brands.
The Boutique RumFest celebrates new or small, independent rums and cachaca brands. It will give emerging distillers a chance to showcase new products to key industry figures.
UK RumFest forms part of London Cocktail Week, which takes place from 11-18 October 2012.
