The show, which has been based at Earls Court for the past 21 years, will be moving to Excel from 6-9 October 2013.
Matthew Griffiths, chief executive of PLASA, said: "We have hugely ambitious plans for the future of the event and the state-of-the-art facilities at Excel support this vision."
The move will enable the show to expand its international audience by providing even more conferences, speakers and demonstration areas.
Griffiths added: "We are moving to an area transformed by significant investment in preparation for the London Olympic Games."
The PLASA Show is owned by the industry and, as such, it is the only entertainment technology event to reinvest its revenue back into the industry it serves.
From 9-12 September the show will be having its final outing at Earls Court.
