After a successful Olympic Games, which saw the venue host an Olympic event for every day of the Games, the venue has decided the time is right for a brand to take on its naming rights.
Kevin Murphy, chief executive at Excel, said: "Alongside having its brand associated with Europe’s leading convention and exhibition centre, the partner will be able to take advantage of the venue’s spaces and visitor market to activate brand experiences, educate, sell, deliver first rate hospitality and pursue direct business opportunities.
"This long term deal is a unique opportunity and will be the first time in the UK a business venue has offered naming rights."
Excel has a diverse business audience of four million visitors a year, and in the next few weeks it will host six Paralympic events.
Excel London, supported by advisors Why Not, are now accepting enquiries from interested potential partners with a view to announcing a preferred partner in 2013.
