Rugby School Enterprises, the commerical arm of the historical Warwickshire school, located near junction 1 of the M6 motorway, features a number of events spaces including sporting facilities and the Temple Speech room.
The venue is also suitable for teambuilding and summer networking events as its grounds incorporate open terrain, sports fields, tennis courts and a sports centre. The ‘Close’, where Webb Ellis, a former pupil of Rugby School and supposedly the inventor of rugby football, first ran with the ball, is available for hire.
Catering at the venue is provided by Lime Venue Portfolio’s sister company, Chartwells Independent. Rugby School also provides a fully-licensed bar service ideal for receptions.
Jo Austin, head of sales at Lime Venue Portfolio, said: "It is great that we can now help promote this venue to the market and provide our key agency partners even greater geographic exposure and an historic venue that offers broad and unique event spaces."
Richard Poole, commercial director at Rugby School Enterprises, added: "We are thrilled to be joining the Lime Venue Portfolio team and are excited to be part of a unique group of venues that make up such a great portfolio.
"Rugby School has such a rich and interesting heritage and is well placed to accommodate the needs and aspirations of most. As we approach the Rugby World Cup the school, as the birthplace of the global game, looks forward to receiving events."
