The interior of the US-heritage flagship store includes dark wood panelling, Swarovski crystal chandeliers and an assortment of antique furniture. It draws heavily on the heritage of the brand, which has been around since 1818.
Nigel Collett, design director of rpa:vision, said the aim of the project was to use the Brooks Brothers brand heritage in order to create a piece of American cultural heritage in Regent Street, while maintaining strong visual links with the retailer's US retail environments.
Collett said: "Our key concern was to ensure that the interior architecture of the space enhanced customer flow, drawing people down the staircase to the retail space in the basement.
"We have brought our extensive knowledge and expertise of working with global brands to bear on this project."
John Hind, managing director of Brooks Brothers UK, said: "Rpa:vision has successfully translated the look and feel of our US store format into the very heart of London.
"We felt that only a company that has true international experience with established premium brands in our sector would be able to successfully implement this to our demanding customer and global brand requirements and our experience with rpa:vision has proved us right."
The store opening is the beginning of a planned UK-wide rollout of Brooks Brothers stores over the next few years.
