JHP oversees new store concept for Les Nereides jeweller

LONDON – Design consultancy JHP has created a new store concept for the French boutique jewellery trader, Les Nereides.

JHP will introduce polished surfaces and glass to the Covent Garden branch of the store to incorporate the French trader's "quirky" creative input.

An eye-catching feature wall will be used to display the jewellery pieces, while creating mini vignettes in a setting that changes colour with each passing season.

A neutral backdrop has been created to showcase the products because of the intricate design of the merchandise.

Raj Wilkinson, joint managing director of JHP, said: "We worked very closely together with the founders to incorporate their own quirky design input.

"We believe together we have created a store that sets the scene for the company's beautiful products."

JHP believes that by using polished surfaces and glass, the store will have a cool and restrained ambience but with some individual flashes of creativity and individuality.

The design consultancy is continuing to work with Les Nereides on evolving the store concepts and format.
