LONDON - Royal Mail has licensed postcode-level product purchase data from eBay to launch a new tool for UK advertisers.

The Royal Mail Insight Tool provides access to more than 140 million UK transactions made through eBay.

The data is anonymous, aggregated to postcode level and refreshed monthly. It provides purchase history, type of products bought and levels of spend.

It is also linked to geodemographic profile insight provided by Callcredit Information Group's Cameo classification.
