
Merlin contracted Rouge to produce the events at the castle, which is part of the Merlin Entertainments Group. Rouge will also jointly promote the event, extending the Rouge Live branch of the company into promotion for the first time.
On 13 July, Jessie J will headline the Ultimate Summer Party. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will take the stage on 14 July to perform classical pieces at the Great British Summer Proms concert. It will play highlights from the last night of the Proms with a guest performance from the Military Wives Choir. An aerobatic display from a WWII Spitfire will add to the military theme and the event will raise money for armed forces charity SSAFA.
Tickets for Summer Sounds were released yesterday morning and Rouge told Event 800 were sold in the first hour.
