The event is taking place at London's Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell on 5-7 October. The venue was once central to trade and commerce in the capital.

BOB will focus on what happens after the spotlight has left Britain in 2012, and where Britain stands in the world as an industrial and cultural force.

Brands already on board include manufacturers of Mono sports cars BAC Mono, Britain's longest established bicycle manufacturer Pashley Cycles, and Soho based tailor Mark Powell Bespoke Tailoring.

Only companies that support UK manufacturing will be selected to show at the event and all products will have been made in Britain. Exhibitors will range from long-established heritage brands, to more recent start-ups; all of them will have one thing in common - they believe in supporting the manufacturing skills that still exist in the UK.

BOB is the brainchild of British brand showcase curator, Antony Wallis, who has launched trade and consumer exhibitions including 40°, Pure Womenswear, Stitch Menswear and Clothes Show Live.

The event will open with an exclusive preview day to international trade buyers and retailers, followed by two days of selling directly to the public.

Wallis said: "I believe that a product’s provenance is of the utmost importance. By buying authentic British bikes, cars, furniture, clothing and accessories, produced by skilled craftsmen using the finest materials, we are helping to keep these skills alive – let quality enjoy a revival!
