Rippleffect redesigns Revolution Vodka Bars website

LONDON - Revolution Vodka Bar, the world's largest chain of vodka bars, has relaunched its website, created by digital agency Rippleffect.

Rippleffect undertook a complete redesign of Revolution's website, introducing a fresh design with more interactive features, including links to resident DJs' MySpace pages, competitions, party invites and the ability to book vodka history tours online.

also includes an online party booking system, membership scheme and entertainment planner.

Alec Woolford, Rippleffect's technical development director, said: "The style and content of the site taps into the lifestyle of Revolution's target audience, namely young, hip music lovers who are very cutting edge in their tastes and are completely comfortable with how the internet works as a social tool.

"Rather than people just looking at the website to see where the bars are and what food and drink they serve, clients can actively participate in how they plan an evening and become part of the Revolution movement."

Andy Windsor, digital marketing manager for Inventive Leisure, which owns Revolution, said the brief for the redesigned site was to reflect Revolution's offline position as a market leader and to embrace its passion, but above all to have a fun approach with its marketing.

He said: "Rippleffect not only implemented the brief but has exceeded all expectations and has really set us apart from our rivals, who now have a lot to do to catch us up in terms of style, concept and functionality. This website has truly raised the bar," Windsor said.
