RFU launches Twickenham Experience website

LONDON - The Rugby Football Union has launched its Twickenham Experience website, which is designed and built by online agency Grasshopper

look and feel aims to reflect Twickenham Stadium's position as a destination for business and sport.

Using a 360-degree tour of the stadium, the site showcases the new facilities including the South Stand, which adds over 5000 square metres of function space, a four star Marriott Hotel and a Virgin Active Classic health club.

The RFU hopes the site will drive event enquiries and meeting room and on-site accommodation bookings.

RFU digital media manager, Kate Saunders, said: "I am pleased that we are bolstering an important part of our business through online channels. I hope users will agree that the improved design and navigation make a strong case for the benefits of buying match-day hospitality at Twickenham Stadium through TEL."

Twickenham Experience was formed in 2000 as a joint venture between the RFU, the Compass Group and Hamsard. It is the only official provider of match day hospitality and conference and banqueting facilities within the grounds of Twickenham Stadium.
