Group turnover rose to 拢3.5m, compared with 拢1.3m for the same six-month period last year.
Research Now, a European online fieldwork and panel specialist, says its success is due to a broadening in client base and the rising proportion of its revenues from continuous research studies, which accounted for 24% of turnover during this period.
In addition, the group delivered online fieldwork and panel services to more than 150 clients in the first half compared to just more than 100 in the whole of the last financial year.
At the beginning of 2005, Research Now served UK clients from a single office in London.
Since then the group has expanded to 19 countries with offices in Australia, France, Germany and the US and panels in Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden and Belgium and Greece.
Geoff Westmore, chairman of Research Now, said: "The second half of the financial year has begun strongly with continuing sales growth from both new and existing clients.
"The market for online fieldwork in Europe is still developing apace and Research Now intends to continue to be in the vanguard for many years to come."
Over the remainder of 2006, the group aims to maintain its focus on quality of delivery, make further investment in online panels and increased headcount and will continue to develop client relationships from a variety of sales offices.
The majority of Research Now's clients are market research agencies, although the group also provides fieldwork to an array of corporate clients, media and advertising agencies and consultancies.
