Research Now expands operations in US

LONDON - European online fieldwork and panel specialist Research Now has expanded its US operation with the opening of a San Francisco office.

The company's existing New York office has also made significant additions its team. Wendy McNutt, previously at Greenfield, has been appointed director of US service delivery, based in San Francisco, but responsible for both US offices.

Chris Havemann, Research Now chief executive, said: "We have gained considerable traction in our US business since entering the market at the beginning of the year, in line with our stated strategy. These further investments will enable Research Now to capitalise on buoyant US demand for our European data collection services and provide a platform for further profitable growth in 2007".

Other additions to the team include Tobin Bailey, Franck Markowitz and Dana Stanley, who join as vice-presidents of client development. Markowitz and Stanley will be based in New York, with Bailey in San Francisco.

Clare McHatton has also moved from the London office to work as client development manager, alongside Matt Dolen, who also joins in the same role in San Francisco. Heather Radcliffe will take up the position in New York.

The appointments follow the hiring this year of Charles Pearson to senior vice-president for US business development, and Paul Botje as global chief operating officer, based in London.

Charles Pearson, senior vice-president of business development, said: "Our US business is growing rapidly as we continue to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace.

"These key appointments will contribute greatly to our client base, enabling us to serve better the needs of our current customers and to introduce our services to new customers. Furthermore, they demonstrate that our high quality positioning and attractive company culture has enabled us to attract outstanding talent to our team."
