
The certificate will include the circulation of digital editions, including those specially designed for tablet devices such as the iPad, alongside print circulation.

The move does not impact on newspaper publishers' ABCe figures, which are a measure of the unique browsers who visited a newspaper website.
The new cross-platform certificate was developed in response to publishers' requests for the ABC to offer them more flexibility, particularly with regard to demonstrating digital editions, but it has not yet been extended to national newspapers.
Martyn Gates, director of newspapers, ABC, said: "As more and more publishers are launching digital editions of their publications, it is crucial that we support the industry in promoting the growth of their digital offering.
"ABC is continually improving its products and services to reflect changes in the industry and we are delighted to announce the new cross platform certificate to report print and digital circulation figures in one place."
The new certificate was agreed by representatives from the industry at the latest meeting of the ABC Reporting Standards Group.
