
Rees, who has worked at the east London exhibition venue for ten years, will also sit on the executive management team.
Rees was appointed to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) board of directors in October 2012, and has worked to raise the profile and of Excel within the global meetings industry.
His promotion follows other . Murphy was replaced by former managing director David Pegler.
