A new series of the ad-funded programme will follow the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour around the globe. It will culminate in London with the final broadcast live on Dave.

The series begins on 28 July and runs for five weeks.  The deal was put together by UKTV's head of commercial partnerships, Sally Quick.

The series is aimed at 16- to 34-year-old men with an interest in racing. It will include stunts, high-pressure competition and will be shot in glamorous locations.

The Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour is a high-energy event in which the world's best Freestyle Motocross (FMX) riders combine power, skill and showmanship to perform stunts, reaching heights of up to 40 feet.

In 2009, the Tour visits Mexico City, Calgary in Canada, Fort Worth in Texas and Madrid before concluding in London. It is the first time the competition has come to the UK in its eight year history. A crowd of 17,000 fans are expected to descend on Battersea Power Station for the Grand Finale to watch 12 of the world's best riders perform gravity-defying tricks to battle it out for the world title.

Dave's coverage will comprise of four weekly highlights shows from each of the overseas events, culminating in a live two hour finale from London's Battersea Power Station.
