The new drink, which is made from kola nut and coca leaf, will be available to buy in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Russia and the US as well as the UK. However, US distribution will be limited to Las Vegas only.
It will be available in the UK through on-trade and off-trade outlets from the end of April in two sizes, 250ml and 355ml.
Red Bull said the new variant has no preservatives, additives, phosphoric acid, artificial colouring or flavours.

After the main launch, promotional activity will be integrated into existing marketing activity for the main energy drink.
