Red Bull, the only brand to own an F1 team, currently operates two - Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso. However, regulations to be introduced in 2010 prohibit synergies in design or construction between the two teams. The brand has now decided to focus its efforts on Red Bull Racing and dispose of Toro Rosso.

The team, which is based in Italy and co-owned by Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz and F1 legend Gerhard Berger, will officially be put up for sale in the autumn. The team made its racing debut during the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championships.
