Ratings rise as tempers flare on Celebrity Love Island

LONDON – The heat seems to be finally getting to ITV's 'Celebrity Love Island' stars as former 'Hollyoaks' actor Paul Danan was kicked off the island temporarily after a blazing drunken row that threatened to turn violent.

Minders were called in after temperatures rose between former 'Hollyoaks' actor Danan and nightclub owner Fran Cosgrove, who was also in the last series of ITV's 'I'm a Celebrtity Get Me Out of Here', following a drunken game of truth or dare.

Danan has been seen to be getting increasingly paranoid and voicing his thoughts to the others about exactly what he thinks about them.

Tempers flared as Danan climbed into Abi Titmuss's empty bed to be turfed out by Cogsrove, to which Danan responded: "Why don't you fuck off, you're a fucking bitch!"

Cosgrove threatened to knock Danan out and security guards were called after the others complained they did not feel safe with Danan sleeping in the same bedroom.

Danan has been given a 24-hour cooling-off period and it is not known whether he will be allowed back into the villa at this stage.

The flaring tempers and on-screen passion have helped viewing figures rise, with 700,000 more viewers tuning in last night compared with Wednesday's show, to bring audience numbers up to 3.9m.

There was more harmony on show between Rebecca Loos and Callum Best, who spent much of last night's dinner kissing before they could contain their excitement no longer and set off to be alone.

The pair took off their microphones and locked themselves in the nearest toilet.

After the pair emerged from the toilets, Loos was heard saying  "I want more" as she led her conquest out of the cubicle. The pair had already spent time together in the Love Shack.

Loos attempted to keep things interesting by revealing more details about her alleged affair with David Beckam to Lady Isabella Hervey.

"I felt extremely guilty but the next morning after I spent the first night with him, I woke up and I can't tell you how I felt.

"I felt amazing, it was the most amazing night of my life and I could not stop smiling, but at the same time you feel guilty. I felt more guilt about the kids and his Mum than I did about Victoria," Loos said.
