Racing UK relaunches website with design by 141 Worldwide

LONDON - Racing UK, the subscription TV channel for horseracing enthusiasts, has relaunched its website with the aid of 141 Worldwide.

The new will give users access to race schedules and headline news from the Racing Post. It will also allow subscribers to access Top Trumps-style information on 31 of the UK's leading racecourses.

Hugh Boyle, 141 Worldwide's business director, said: "A key objective for 141 Worldwide was to provide racing enthusiasts with every type of information they could possibly wish for, while delivering a site more consistent with other TV related sites, rather than those in the betting sector."

Still in development is the website's The Inside Track section. When completed it will contain the latest information on course conditions, venue comparisons and which courses are favoured by jockeys and horses.

Boyle said: "From a commercial perspective we've also worked hard to make subscribing to Racing UK intuitive and practical as well as drive home the message that Racing UK is primarily a subscription TV channel. The new site will play a key role in driving domestic and commercial subscription numbers in the months ahead."
