Lenik, who has been appointed as client partner, is the co-founder and director of online wine retailer Premium Purveyor, which he set up in June 2009 and will continue to work for, alongside his Pulse role.
Porter, who also joined last week from McGarry Bowen, has been appointed as planning partner to oversee Pulse’s strategic division.
Mike Spicer, Pulse chief executive, said: "Scott and Paul’s extensive brand and planning experience, as well as their keen eye for commercial success, are fantastic additions to our senior team.
"Their appointments are in line with our plan to significantly expand the agency in the next three years and their depth of experience across global brands, as well as building and establishing companies, will complement and extend our existing expertise."
Porter joins Pulse after working at McGarry Bowen for 10 months as planning director, setting up the UK office and overseeing strategy for clients including Kraft and JP Morgan.
Prior to that, he worked for TBWA/Tequila as senior insight planner from April 2008, until joining McGarry Bowen in August last year. He has also previously worked as managing director of Insight Café and managing director of Culture Marketing.
Before establishing Premium Purveyor, Lenik was joint managing director and co-founder of Attention Mindset Marketing for nine years from 2000, where he worked with clients including Bacardi, Pernod Ricard, Coors Brewers, Castrol, Nike, RBS and Danone.
Lenik also worked as marketing and business director of Ogilvy Action and as brand manager for Stella Artois with Interbrew UK.
