Publicis creates collaborative marketing unit

LONDON - Publicis Groupe has created a collaborative marketing unit for manufacturers called Collaborative Marketing Worldwide, and former Saatchi & Saatchi executive Mel Korn has been named CEO.

Korn was previously chief executive of the group's Saatchi & Saatchi Collaborative Marketing Unit. It is understood that Margaret Somers, Saatchi & Saatchi's executive vice-president and general manager, will assume Korn's responsibilities.

The new unit will create consumer-driven programmes for manufacturing clients using the retail store as a medium, the group said.
