Prince Charles to front eco campaign

The Prince of Wales is set to appear in a campaign promoting the Prince's Rainforests Project.

The campaign is in the early stages of production but is understood to star a variety of dignitaries and Hollywood celebrities including Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett. The Prince is also believed to have been approached to appear in the film.

The film, which will aim to encourage people to "sign up" to stop deforestation, could mark the first time a member of the Royal Family has featured in such a campaign.

Hurrell Moseley Dawson & Grimmer is producing the campaign, while Wunderman will be responsible for the below-the-line activity. Rattling Stick and Epoch will handle production.

The film will aim to rally together international companies, NGOs and the public to try to put a halt to tropical deforestation.
