One shop not previously mentioned is Santo London, the fledging UK office of the Buenos Aires-based WPP network. The agency met with M&S for initial discussions when the review kicked off in May. Led by chief executive Orlando Greenhill-Cooper, Santo London is hungry for new business but perhaps this time had eyes bigger than its stomach. Pitching shops comprise Grey London, The & Partnership (in which WPP has a 49% stake), VCCP (20%-owned by WPP) and 16-year incumbent Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.

LGBT charity Stonewall has hired Mr President as its retained agency after a pitch through AAR. Stonewall has charged Mr President with bringing the brand closer to a wider audience.
