One shop not previously mentioned is Santo London, the fledging UK office of the Buenos Aires-based WPP network. The agency met with M&S for initial discussions when the review kicked off in May. Led by chief executive Orlando Greenhill-Cooper, Santo London is hungry for new business but perhaps this time had eyes bigger than its stomach. Pitching shops comprise Grey London, The & Partnership (in which WPP has a 49% stake), VCCP (20%-owned by WPP) and 16-year incumbent Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.

Maxus, M2M, the7stars and VCCP Media are pitching for the media account for Amazon’s Audible. M2M is the incumbent on the brand’s digital media, while Initiative, not involved in the pitch, handles everything else. AAR is overseeing the process.

LGBT charity Stonewall has hired Mr President as its retained agency after a pitch through AAR. Stonewall has charged Mr President with bringing the brand closer to a wider audience.
