Guests sampled a selection of dishes provided by Rhubarb including mini full English breakfasts and eggs Benedict. Attendees were also able to hand in their business cards to be in with a chance of winning an unique experience at one of UVL’s venues, including chocolate tasting on the EDF Energy London Eye.
Stella English, winner of BBC One's The Apprentice 2010, delivered two talks to guests about her experiences in the industry and her new business, English Events Company.
Guests were also able to talke to UVL's event doctors, who discussed their event challenges, as well as embarking on a familiarisation trip visiting other UVL venues including the National Portrait Gallery, Banqueting House, Sir John Soane's Museum and the Royal Opera House.
Moya Maxwell, chairman of UVL, said: "Our fifth annual Unique Venues of London expo was another big sucess, and we would like to thank Vinopolis for hosting us this year. Our UVL event doctors were out in force and it was brilliant to see buyers, event planners and guests meeting our venue representatives all under one roof and finding out how to make their events unforgettable.
"We were also particularly excited to hear Stella English deliver her talk - it was really inspiring to hear her experiences and great to hear that she was impressed by the quality of our venues."
