Top Gear’s mute racing car driver posed in front of various Liverpool landmarks this week as part of a promotional stunt, including next to the StigLambanana figure, which appeared for the first time at Liverpool One.
The Stig took the opportunity to take in the city’s sights visiting the top of the Liver building, stopping off by Eleanor Rigby’s bench and the Albert Dock.
The Stiglambanana sculpture is based on the Superlambanana statues – a cross between a lamb and a banana – which first made an appearance on the streets of Liverpool in 1998 as part of the ArtTranspennine98 exhibition.
Top Gear Live will also be visiting Newcastle Metro Arena, Belfast Odyssey Arena, Sheffield Motorpoint Arena and The O2 in London in the coming months.
