A total of 120 five-foot sculptures from comprise the exhibition, which will remain in situ until Sunday (27 September).
Upon completion of the stunt renowned bidder Tim Wonnacott will lead a charity auction on 8 October, where sculptures with designs by the likes of David Gandy, Zandra Rhodes, Cath Kidston and DreamWorks Animation will be up for grabs.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Wallace and Gromit’s Children's Charity, which supports sick children in hospitals across the UK.
Wonnacott said: "It has been brilliant to visit ‘The Great Sheep Round Up’ this morning to see the very special sculptures that I will be auctioning in a few weeks’ time. There are some very eye-catching designs among the flock that I’m sure will be highly sought after on the night!"
Nicola Masters, director, Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation added: "It's been a wonderful summer for Shaun and our Covent Garden exhibition represents the last chance for the public to see all 120 sculptures from our London and Bristol trails before they go to auction in October.
"We're delighted to have had the support of so many designers and sponsors in bringing this fabulous flock to the city’s streets for so many thousands of people to enjoy. We really hope as many people as possible will head to Covent Garden to see our Shauns this weekend. With London Fashion Week over, a sheep walk should provide the perfect substitute to the catwalk."
