
The experience will centre on the ice rink destination in London’s Exchange Square and will see fans of the sheep meet him in person, as well as create clay Shaun models with expert Aardman model makers and decorate Shaun cupcakes.
The event is being held to mark the release of Shaun the Sheep the Movie in cinemas nationwide, as well as the .
Nick Park, creator of Shaun the Sheep, Aardman Animations, said: "The Shaun in the City trail means so much to me. Shaun is such a well-loved character with fans all over the world.
"He will add such colour to our streets and I am sure many will flock to the city to be part of the fun. I am particularly looking forward to working with so many talented artists and seeing how they will use Shaun as their canvas."
Funds raised from the 50 Shaun sculptures placed in London will go to Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity, which helps to raise funds to support and improve the lives of children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.
Nicola Masters, director at Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity, said: "For our sponsors this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the world’s first Shaun in the City trail, designed to draw international attention and visitors from across the globe, whilst raising vital funds to support children in hospitals."
