Attendees included Yasmin Le Bon, Alexa Chung, Grayson Perry and Tracey Emin. The event, which took place on Wednesday (4 June), drew inspiration from the minimalism of Scandinavian architecture and influences for its look and feel.
Fisher Productions worked on the concept design and production, with guests entering via the venue's historic courtyard, which was transformed with faux turf and lighting effects, creating a forest-like feel, echoing the theme of the event.
The recent Sensing Spaces:Architecture Reimagined exhibition held at the Royal Academy provided the inspiration for the interior decor, with structures incorporating the bars and food stations on a grand scale. Highlights included a central bar interpreting a modernist Scandinavian beached timber house, standing at six metres high and an infinity forest seafood bar.
The dessert bar was a two-dimensional cut-out of a retro caravan, with guests collecting food through the caravan windows. Following the exhibition preview, guests moved back into the courtyard for a set performed by the Kaiser Chiefs on a bespoke stage, flanked by six-metre high RA letters with lighting.
Rocket produced the catering on the night, furniture was supplied by Great Hire and Drinks Fusion designed and supplied Scandinavian-influenced cocktails. Food included hot dogs served in the courtyard, a range of canapes and Jersey oysters.
Jason Collins-Down, account director at Fisher, said: "This is an incredible event for Fisher to produce. Every year it offers us the chance to showcase our creativity, design and build capabilities. We are proud to be associated with such a prestigious and historic event."
